Look, I’m an Apple freak — a proud one at that. However, people are looking into this WAY too much. The icons in the dock represent the keynote itself. Apple has done this with past invites.

I believe it will be something that we previously have used but haven’t touched. I think the fact that it is sitting flat rather than in hand strongly contrasts with the way Steve Jobs originally demonstrated the ipad in hand in an armchair. I think it will be a TV, or something between a laptop and an ipad – aimed at content creation and business.

LOL that’s what I thought I’m like wow why are we speculating if this were a cure to cancer or something okay, but it’s Apple and they do this at least once a year remember the whole iPhone 5 hype that ended up being the 4G? Ummm okay Apple is great at hype, but you can only read so much about retina displays before you want to shoot you own eyes out.

For the Map and Keynote thing… The purpose is part of the invite to “Location” (Maps) on “Date” (Calendars) for “Keynote” (Keynote).
