    @NASTYTHEBOY He had to wait 18 hours for the first charge, after that it would be fine. Also he probably could turn the laptop on while it was plugged in, but when he unplugged it, it would die. That’s what 2 of the 3 laptops @ my house do. That tends to happen to older batteries. But to answer your question: You could hardwire it. We have it done with a laptop here.

    @MrDumbmonkey Lithium isn’t THAT unstable, you would probably be fine if it exploded in your hand, you would have chemical burns, but those heal fast (person experience)

    kip, 37 dollars is still alot, i always see 9827348734 dollar cordless power tools rendered usless by raped batteries, cant theese just be hardwired!? i cant really use my laptop while im driving, and if i just buy gasoline, i can run shit on my generator, and i dont have to waith 18 HOURS to for anything to caharge,
