How to remove and install a laptop graphics card. (Part 1)

This process is hard, but I will show you how to do it without damaging or hurting your laptop. PC Details: Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop Windows Vista: Home Edition (SP1) Note: I have Virtual PC which allows me to run multiple OS’s at one time. (Vista Business & XP & Linux) However, I use Vista: Home Edition as my main OS. 1GB memory (Will upgrade later) 74GB hard drive (I have an external HDD) Intel Core Duo CPU T2250 @ 1.73 GHz Each ATI X1400 Mobility Radeon Graphics Card

    @Rickyhi100 I talked to a hp tech and he said that i cant change it because it is mounted on top of the motherboard of the labtop

    @kirasaviorkira Yes You can Install Them.But its not Recommended To Do So.Yes You could do it but then you have to screw back all the part of the computer.You caan get a better card.i use Nvidia you shouldd get that too.

    @Rickyhi100 How come it says if you have it factory installed before you bought it i can still replace it with a better card or not?

    Ok I have a hp pivillion and when I turn on My computer pixels will start to blink and it will turn black but sometimes it goes back to normal and when it does this it say yr grapics drive has failed to somthing somthing and has now recovered is this because. It’s fried do I need a new one? Oh an I have vista and when it does this my computer will blue screen sometimes

    uh yeh so i recently upgraded from windows xp to windows vista every thing works fine but when i want to use programs like flip 3d movie maker or to even use the screen savers it says that it can’t run ecause it needs a new video card and i need to know where to go or what to get to fix the problem please help

    same, ive got a acer laptop. And everything but my graphics card aka video card is fine.. Its jus the video card which is letting me down. My screen goes all white :S

    well Integrated cards are (such as intel GMA’s) but if you have a laptop with a dedicated GPU (such as an ATI Radeon 3200/4300) you can easily remove it…or if you consider it easy to do all of this :)

    I got this card on my laptop (Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family), But to be serliousy, I have no idea about its replace able or not, Hope you could tell me.
